JoMaMi's Creations (joe-mommy's)

I love the almond sugar scrub and body butter that is made by this company. It smells so de-lish. I started applying the scrub to my rough heels and what a difference it makes and then follow with the body butter. It works for what i need it to which is the dry skin and gives me that fresh almond sugar scent. The moisture last for hours and my skin feels so soft.
Jomamis story;
Joy Mitchell discovered her creative gifts in 9th grade home economics class.  She fell in love with sewing and when she took up the hobby outside of class she enlisted the help of her maternal Grandmother, a teacher and a seamstress.  Her Grandmother, "Mama Ree", taught her many sewing 'tricks' and how to crochet.  Later, Joy taught herself how to make beaded jewelry, sculptures and skincare products.  She also studied with Oscar Robinson, Sr., the oldest African American jeweler on Jeweler's Row in Philadelphia, PA and soon learned the art of silversmithing; Sculptor, Isaac Maefield of Philadelphia, taught her advanced sculpting techniques and 'Ruby The Jeweler' of Atlanta, taught her diamond setting. Each time a piece is created, whether it is a sculpture or a skincare item, Joy makes certain to be at peace and in a joyful state so this energy can be passed on in her products.
